**Transaction Banking**:
Transactional Banking is an integral part of the Corporate & Institutional, providing specialist advice to all segments across the broader C&IB banking team. Our Transactional Banking team work collaboratively with clients to develop an overarching digital and payment strategy to optimise the entire value chain, providing solutions to help businesses collect money, manage their cash, and make payments securely.

**The role**:
Our Transaction Banking team currently have a newly created Director role, based in Melbourne. As an Associate Director / Director, you’ll be primarily responsible for driving new origination activities, as well as relationship managing for complex and high value clients

You’ll grow the Transactional Banking portfolio and provide improved customer outcomes by designing and executing specific super sector plans in consultation with Client Coverage and deliver Transaction Banking solutions that provide financial, operational and risk improvements aligned to client objectives and strategies.

**Day to day you will**:

- Manage the execution of the super sector growth plans, delivering revenues associated with payments and liquidity management, through bespoke frictionless solutions that provide financial and operational efficiencies for our clients
- Collaborate with the Client Coverage, Product, Implementation, Service, and other partners across the bank to accelerate opportunities aligned to protect and grow product (revenue) and market share
- Execute on sector aligned product initiatives that compliment C&I strategic objectives at both a client and portfolio level
- Deliver actionable Transaction Banking insights to both internal & external audiences
- Communicate client feedback back into product for the continuous improvement and broader product roadmap/strategy
- Proactively manage risk, policy, and compliance requirements by managing controls, issues or breaches as they are identified.

**What you'll bring**:

- A passion for business development, with deep, proven knowledge and direct experience in transaction banking and liquidity management underpinned by an understanding of best practice capabilities
- Proven capability in managing complex client relationships, supporting clients during M&A or event trigger activities, driving client advocacy as well as delivering transaction banking origination
- Practical communication skills to translate needs at a strategic and operational level internally and externally, making effective decisions and balancing client, business, and stakeholder needs
- A trusted brand that’s well known for building and maintaining effective and constructive working relationships with a range of senior internal and external stakeholders
- You’ll have gravitas in senior leadership forums across NAB, and will be able to quickly secure the trust and respect of executive peers and new and existing clients
- Wide thought leadership that secures business leaders sponsorship to achieve business objectives
- Demonstrated tenacity and resilience to increase Enterprise value by working closely and maintaining strong agreed strategy with the Corporate Bank.
