Join our client, a leading global mining company with a highly reputable brand within in the industry. We are currently hiring a Bill of Materials Specialist to be based at our clients fantastic Perth CBD office. The Bill of Materials Specialist submits the request for the creation of all the necessary Bill of Materials (BOM) master data for the Project in accordance with the Master Data Governance Standards and keeps track of BOM master data creation in SAP.

Key responsibilities include:

- Engages with Reliability Engineer, Master Data Specialist and Spares Specialist to review technical documentation from the Project and SAP Functional Locations, and create all required Bill of Materials (BOM) for the Project.
- Engages with all team members of the Ops Readiness Asset Integration team (Reliability Engineer, Technical Writer, Master Data Specialist, Spares Specialist) to obtain relevant technical information as required.
- Looks for and records similar Functional Locations to be used for replication for the creation of BOMs.
- Prepares SAP Load Sheets for the creation of BOMs and submits them via Master Data Requests (MDR).

To be successful for this role, you will have the following:

- Experience creating Bill of Materials
- Familiar with Work Management processes to easily identify similar BOMs
- Familiar with systems and tools used to create master data.
- Understanding of how BOMs integrate with work management master data objects.
- Ideally, tertiary or trade qualifications in relevant maintenance field(s).
- Confident with seeking further information to ensure understanding where required.
- Confident with seeking guidance when lacking direction or information, and with escalating risks and issues to team leaders.
- Strong attention to detail.
