**Your new role**
The Master Data Entry Administrator is a newly created position. The role is the owner of all Retail master data tables, and responsible for smooth and efficient product data management to enable sales at all retail locations.

Primary

**Responsibilities**:

- First point of contact for all retail POS systems and product data, supporting a smooth retail sales and operations
- Obtain and collate accurate master data information from various sources as required, including POS and ERP systems, procurement, suppliers/manufacturers etc
- Validate, enter, and maintain product data in POS and ERP systems with high accuracy
- Analyse and maintain product and pricing consistency across all POS and ERP systems. Working closely and proactively with Supply Chain data administration team to achieve product information consistency and accuracy from supply to retail offerings
- Undertake data integrity reviews to ensure accuracy
- Troubleshooting, root cause analysis of failed retail sales/orders and system issues
- Work together with the Retail Analyst to develop and maintain relevant retail business processes, including but not limiting to master product data management and data integrity assurance/compliance

**What you'll need to succeed**
- The position will be working across a high volume of data and requires someone with excellent attention to detail and accuracy, an analytical and logical mindset, and the ability to troubleshoot. It's important to remain focused for extended periods, as the role will require manual data entry and product mapping especially around pricing initiatives and system integration projects.
- As this is a stand-alone master data administrator role and first point of contact for all POS systems, this position requires a person with strong stakeholder engagement skills who is accountable, self-motivated, and able to work autonomously.
- Advanced skills in MS Excel, including working with large data sets and data manipulation
- Experience working with high volume product data
- Capability and willingness to learn new information, work under pressure and to achieve deadlines

Bonus but not mandatory:

- Experience with Retail or Supply Chain data/systems (JDE,Simphony, Trineteq )
