About the opportunity
We are seeking an Allocations Officer to join our growing team. The role of the allocations officer is integral to ensuring appropriate staffing levels across all clinical areas at Werribee mercy Hospital. You will be required to liaise with wards and clinical areas to ascertain staffing requirements and forward planning for the period ahead. Part-time and casual positions available.
What you’ll bring
- Computer literacy including Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)
- Excellent organisational skills
- Customer focused attitude
- Excellent interpersonal and effective communication skills.
- Ability to work as a team.
- A practical approach to problem solving, troubleshooting and decision
making
To thrive in this role, you will have:
- Excellent clinical, time management, organisational and communication skills, with the ability to adapt and problem solve.
- A compassionate, flexible and positive approach to effective patient care and management.
- The ability to nurture friendly, respectful relationships and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
You will also be required to provide evidence of, or in the process of obtaining:
- A current Police Record Check and Working with Children Check.
- Current COVID-19 certificate, proof of current influenza vaccination and other vaccination status consistent with public health orders.
