And you'll be part of our high performing team, where you reap the rewards of our collective success now and into the future.About The OpportunityWe have an exciting opportunity to join Metcash as a State Promotions Specialist on full time basis located in Truganina VIC, to execute national promotions & supporting the state to grow state based promotional programs.This role partners with Retailers, State, Channel & National Teams to drive promotional growth for the state.
In this Role Proactively work with varying teams to support state execution of strategies and projects Work with the National State Promotions Manager to deliver improved promotional performance including: Analyse, Plan & Report, Retail and Wholesale promotional sales performance and GP$.
performance of various promotional mechanics; State based activities & catalogue and Channel Promotional support.
Lead State Retailer Committee Meetings as required, prepare Promotional results presentations & partner with Retailers on Promotional opportunities Perform promotional tasks including catalogue checks, pricing, stock availability, allocations and queries Collaborate with the National Promotions & Trading Teams.
You're Likely a Match If Experienced & Results-Driven: 5+ years in FMCG sales or promotions, with a strong focus on delivering outcomes and continuous improvement.
Exceptional Communicator: Confident in presenting to large groups and building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Collaborative & Detail-Oriented: Works well in team environments, manages time effectively in fast-paced settings, and maintains high attention to detail and weekly deadlines for print.
Retail & Promotions Expertise: Understands Independent Retailer networks, shopper behaviour, and catalogue/print production processes.
Tech-Savvy: Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, Share Point, and cloud-based tools.
