We are a small before and after school care centre located in East Lindfield. We are licensed to 85 children. We offer both before and after school care. We are a group of dedicated educators who are passionate, caring and kind.

**Job description**

We are looking for a casual educator at Lindfield East before and after school care. Someone who is energetic, friendly and compassionate.

We are offering a casual position with working hours of 7:00am-9:00am & 2:30-6:30pm.

Selection criteria:
The ability to provide an appropriate role model for the children and have a strong commitment to and an understanding of duty of care
The ability to work in a professional and collegial manner with fellow staff
The ability to plan and work in an organised manner and to self-reflect on professional practices
Committed to ongoing individual and collaborative professional development
Good communication and conflict resolution skills
The ability to support professional relationships with the parents
The ability to work under direction and to be punctual, flexible and calm
The ability to practice an appropriate standard of hygienic and safe food handling and maintain a clean, safe and orderly environment.
Knowledge of the MTOP framework.

Minimum qualifications preferable:

- First Aid/ CPR
- WWCC (needed)
- child protection (willing to obtain)

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $30.00 - $32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 6 - 18 per week
