Downer is seeking an experienced **Integration Technical Lead**to guide the design, development, and delivery of enterprise-grade integration solutions. This role is central to enabling secure, scalable, and seamless data exchange across business systems. It combines technical leadership with strategic oversight and hands-on delivery, contributing directly to Downer’s digital transformation through modern integration approaches such as APIs, event-driven architectures, and hybrid cloud environments.

Acting as a key liaison between architecture, development, and business teams, this position ensures alignment of integration solutions with enterprise goals and operational excellence.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Lead and manage day-to-day operations of integration platforms including Azure Integration Services, ODI, SnapLogic, and others.
- Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performing integration solutions across cloud and hybrid environments.
- Define, promote, and uphold integration patterns, standards, and best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors to deliver robust APIs and event-driven architectures.
- Monitor integration platform performance, resolve incidents, and ensure compliance with governance, security, and data privacy standards.
- Drive continuous improvement, automation, and platform stability.
- Support and mentor team members, encouraging ongoing learning and knowledge sharing.
- Explore and recommend new integration technologies and approaches to enhance platform capabilities.

**Skills and Experience**
- 7+ years of experience in enterprise integration, including 3+ years in a technical leadership capacity.
- Proven expertise with Azure Integration Services (Logic Apps, Service Bus, API Management) or similar platforms.
- Strong experience with REST/SOAP APIs, OAuth2.0, JWT, and hybrid cloud/on-premise integration.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, version control tools (e.g., Git), and DevOps methodologies.
- Demonstrated ability to translate business needs into effective integration solutions.
- Track record of delivering stable, secure, and compliant integration platforms.

**Preferred Qualifications**
- Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology or a related discipline.
- Certifications in Azure Security and/or Architecture.
- Experience with other platforms such as IBM Integration Bus, SnapLogic, and ODI.
