**About Us**:
Procurement and Property Services monitors and reports on procurement performance and manages several high-profile strategic projects to minimise procurement risk and support the delivery of value for money. It is also responsible for the effective operation and management of asset maintenance, fleet and property, and facilities management services across the department.

**About the Role**:
The role is a part of the Strategy Implementation team which is responsible for delivering and implementing procurement and property strategy on behalf of the Chief Procurement Officer (CPO), working closely with the other teams in the branch to support delivery of the department's strategic objectives through provision of procurement and property services.

**Some of your duties will include**:

- Supporting the coordination of projects and forwarding their progression.
- Tracking project transition deliverables against the schedule and budget and identify any risks.
- Answering queries, providing timely advice and take follow up action as required.

**About You**:Some of your duties will include**:

- Direct and Manage Project Work: Understand structured project management methodology, standards and frameworks and experience in project delivery.
- Stakeholder Management: Effectively engage with stakeholders, create effective structures to manage internal and external stakeholders with the ability to negotiate and influence diverse stakeholder groups on highly complex issues.
- Concept Brief Development: Experience in written and verbal communication through the development of various project documents, guidelines, processes and briefs.

**Qualifications**:

- Relevant tertiary qualifications, preferably encompassing procurement, project management, commerce, law or business administration is highly desirable.
- Experience / understanding of government procurement and policies will be highly desirable.
