The North Eastern Public Health Unit (NEPHU) is one of nine public health units in Victoria; three in metropolitan Melbourne and six covering regional Victoria. Together these units form a coordinated network, working in partnership with the Department of Health to deliver a comprehensive public health program for Victoria. The NEPHU is led and coordinated by Austin Health and works in partnership with Northern Health and Eastern Health in a networked operational structure with responsibility spanning approximately 1.81m people living in the northeast of metropolitan Melbourne. The NEPHU is proud of its diverse multidisciplinary team who reflect the community we serve.

**About the role**:
The NEPHU Corporate Support Coordinator supervises the Corporate Support team, consisting of three Corporate Support Officers, to ensure delivery of a high level of administrative support to the NEPHU. The role of the Coordinator includes overseeing and reporting on various administration functions from each of the three NEPHU sites, and ensuring compliance with the various health services’ policies and processes. The role will be a conduit between leadership and operational administration staff to ensure clear communication and consistency in all aspects of the day to day management of the unit. This will include continuous process improvement, risk identification, performance management, and development and implementation of systems to ensure efficiency and innovation..

**Essential Knowledge and skills and selection criteria**:

- Proficient in the use of broad established administrative processes in a health service
- Demonstrated influencing skills to persuade and gain workforce cooperation
- Demonstrated ability to form and sustain collaborative stakeholder relationships
- Demonstrated ability to be proactive and show sound judgement in a diverse and continuously evolving environment
- Demonstrated ability to work independently without direct supervision and use initiative to anticipate and solve problems
- Advanced technical skills in Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, Sharepoint)
- Sound understanding of information, file, and document management.
