About the Role
Anglicare is seeking a compassionate and experienced Allied Health Team Leader to join our Seniors Communities team on a permanent, full-time basis at Castle Hill. Reporting to the Care Operations Manager, you will lead a multidisciplinary allied health team to deliver person-centred care, supporting residents’ independence through restorative and chronic condition management. This role ensures compliance with the Aged Care Act, Quality Standards, and Anglicare’s Christian mission.

Key Responsibilities:
Leadership- Inspire and guide a team of physiotherapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists, and psychologists to deliver empathetic care.- Foster a collaborative ‘one team’ culture across the village.- Conduct performance reviews and mentoring to build team capability.
Operational Management- Oversee service delivery, ensuring compliance with aged care standards and funding models.- Monitor KPIs and budgets to drive continuous improvement.- Maintain a reduced client caseload to stay connected to service delivery.
Stakeholder Engagement- Build strong relationships with residents, families, and external health partners.- Promote the Allied Health team’s services within the community.
Safety and Risk- Champion a culture of safety, managing risks and incidents effectively.
Christian Care- Uphold Anglicare’s Christian mission and support spiritual care opportunities.
Key Skills:
- Strong leadership and team management across multidisciplinary teams.- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement.- Knowledge of Support at Home funding and aged care reforms.- Clinical decision-making and problem-solving.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Qualification in Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, Psychology, or related field.- Current AHPRA registration.- 5+ years’ experience in aged care or community settings.- Proven leadership of multidisciplinary teams.- Current driver’s licence and computer skills.
