**headspace **provides mental health support to young people aged 12 - 25, with a range of services available for young people at risk of or experiencing early stages of a mental health disorder and common co-occurring difficulties. All of our services are young person focused, inclusive of family and friends with a strong focus on functional recovery, youth specific interventions and support from peers who have experienced the same or similar challenges.

**Your Opportunity**

We are a caring, considerate, professional, and non-judgmental group of people who are dedicated to helping our young people with evidence-based practice, to get the best outcomes.

As the Team Leader (Clinical) you will provide clinical support across the team and monitor aspects of the service including the engagement, screening, assessing and coordination of care for young people. You will provide leadership including change management, development of quality improvement initiatives and oversee the day-to-day operational management across the team.

You will oversee a team of up to 7 people from varying disciplines (including, psychology, social work, mental health nursing, occupational therapy, and counselling), as well as work placement students and Allied Health Practitioners.

Within headspace you will become part of the leadership team and work collaboratively with the Clinical Services Manager and the other Team Leaders. You will receive support from the Assistant Manager, and you will also be able to link in with the support services of the wider organisation.

This is a full-time ongoing position, working Monday to Friday, 38 hours per week. The position will be based in our Southport office.

The base annual salary ranges between $102,534 - $107,079 per annum + super, commensurate with the successful applicant’s level of knowledge, skills, and experience. With salary packaging you can increase your annual salary to between **$122.677 - $127,870.
**About you**

You are passionate about working with young people and identify with our values. You have a balance of strong mental health clinical skill and leadership, including experience in change management and innovation. You are able to maintain the clinical and professional standard of the service while positively contributing to the culture of the service by valuing staff and individual skill sets.

**Additionally, you will also possess the following skills and experience**:

- Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy, Mental Health Nursing, Social Work, or Psychology and eligibility for membership of AHPRA or the appropriate professional body.
- Demonstrated expertise in the supervision of a multidisciplinary services delivery team including the ability to lead the coordination of care for young people with complex care needs including consultation and engagement with a wide range of professionals.
- Proven ability with case formulation and treatment planning including delivering evidenced based intervention.
- Demonstrated leaderships skills to provide clinical leadership and operational leadership including staff development, people, and financial resource matters.
- Flexibility in coping with organisational change and demonstrated capacity to be innovative in clinical approaches with young people.
- Highly developed and demonstrable interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal), problem solving and negotiation skills, with experience and capacity to manage multiple, simultaneous key stakeholder relationships, some with conflicting priorities.
- Passionate about early intervention for young people and their families and ability to actively engage and work collaboratively with young people and their families/significant others.

Ability to use relevant information Technology and electronic client recording systems and data management tools.
