Reporting to the Coordinator, the Team Leader provides leadership and support to staff within their allocated programs across mental health and disability. In addition you will;
- Work collaboratively to ensure the efficient and effective day to day running of the service;
- Supervise and conduct the daily activities of team members;
- Assist in the recruitment and performance appraisal of staff;
- Assist in the assessment of clients;
- Demonstrate to team member’s appropriate skill in handling complex caseloads and acting as a mentor to staff if required;
- Assist in the development of documents pertaining to service delivery;
- Represent the service at appropriate forums;
- Work collaboratively to develop high quality service delivery frameworks.

**About you**:
Critical to your success in this role will be the proven ability to demonstrate:

- Effective and professional interpersonal and communication skills
- Accurate and timely decision making skills
- The ability to work in a fast paced environment.

In addition you will:

- Currently hold or be studying towards relevant qualifications and experience
- Maintain a current Australian drivers license
- Comply with the Disability Services Act 2006, screening requirements.
