Team Leader

As a for-purpose organisation, Forsight provides Supported Independent Living shared accommodation for people with sensory impairments across Greater Sydney.

We are now taking expressions of interest from Team Leaders or skilled Support Workers looking to grow their career into a leadership position with an organisation that values its team members.

Reporting to the Home Services Manager, you will be responsible for the direct active support of Forsight clients and the delivery of their person-centred goals, as well as assisting the Home Services Manager with the management of the home.

**Duties will include**:

- Supporting clients living with sensory impairments to achieve their goals.
- CTARS notes checking and Incidents reviews and closures
- Rostering of staff as per Master Roster
- Assisting with SIL preparation
- Assisting with RPA submission and reporting
- QoL preparation and reporting
- Assisting in the Recruitment processes
- Induction and probation management for new team members
- Accounts reconciliations and Invoice approvals
- Inclusion in after hours on-call roster
- Other tasks as directed by HSM.

**We are looking for someone who**:

- Is approachable and has the ability to build, develop and sustain positive working relationships with all internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience in shared accommodation services for adults with disabilities and the Active Support Model.
- Flexible and empathetic attitude with excellent interpersonal, communication and written skills
- Will think outside the box, be innovative and committed to the day to day support and management of the home
- Has high resilience
- Works autonomously and takes initiative.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Can work seamlessly as both an Active Support Worker and a Team Leader role.
- Proficiency utilising Microsoft Office Programs (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- 2 years experiences in a similar role or tertiary qualifications in leadership or a relevant field would be highly regarded

**In addition, we’ll require the following**:

- Right to work in Australia
- A valid and unrestricted NSW driver’s license
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Proof of COVID-19 Vaccinations including Boosters (or willingness to obtain)
- Alignment with Forsight’s purpose and values

**Salary**: $35.21 - $41.41 per hour
