*Position Purpose*
Join Certis as a Request for Service (RFS) Team Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of RFS activities across Terminals 1, 2 and 3 Based at Sydney Airport. Are you an organised and driven professional with a passion for operational excellence? Certis is looking for an enthusiastic RFS Team Leader to join our dynamic Aviation Security team at Sydney Airport.

This is a key operational role requiring strong organisational, leadership, and communication skills to ensure the effective coordination of RFS services and the delivery of of high-quality outcomes. you will work closely with our Performance Manager to coordinate forward planning of rosters, manage shift coverage, and support a network of trainers, Security Officers,and key customers. Your strong planning skills will ensure seamless operations and exceptional customer service across our aviation security business.

About The Role
As a
Team Leader
, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of Aviation Security, Guard, and RFS (Ready for Screening) activities across Terminals 1, 2, and 3. This vital leadership role ensures smooth operational delivery, compliance with security standards, and effective coordination of staff and resources.

You'll be responsible for leading, coaching, and motivating Aviation Security Guards to perform their duties with professionalism, while maintaining CERTIS standards of safety, integrity, and service excellence.

*Key Responsibilities*

• Lead and supervise daily Aviation Security, Guard, and RFS operations
• Plan and allocate staff, equipment, and resources to meet operational demands
• Conduct site inspections and pre-shift briefings to ensure smooth operations
• Coordinate staff breaks, postings, and roster changes
• Liaise with Roster Planning to ensure effective deployment
• Manage performance, coach team members, and address conduct or attendance issues
• Ensure compliance with company policies, aviation security standards, and safety regulations
• Respond to incidents and operational issues as they arise
• Maintain accurate operational records and reporting
• Support investigations, service requests, and client relationships
