**Experienced NBN Network Labourers**
**Location**: Hobart, Tasmania
**Employment Type**: Full-time or Casual
**Pay Range**: $28 to $34 per hour (depending on experience)

**About the Role**

We are seeking experienced and safety-conscious labourers to support the **installation, maintenance, and repair of NBN network infrastructure**. This role offers an excellent opportunity for skilled individuals who thrive in dynamic environments and enjoy hands-on work.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Haul NBN cables through existing and new ducts.
- Identify, rod, rope, and repair blockages in conduits.
- Assist in the installation of telecommunications pits and associated infrastructure.
- Support internal NBN cable hauling at customer premises.
- Operate and maintain hand and power tools safely.
- Read and interpret technical plans and **Before You Dig Australia (BYDA)** documentation.
- Adhere to strict onsite safety protocols and standards.

**Qualifications and Skills**
- Hands-on experience in NBN network infrastructure work, including cable hauling and pit installation.
- Ability to work with hand and power tools effectively.
- Physical fitness, reliability, and teamwork skills.
- Relevant certifications, such as **Confined Space Entry** or **Asset Locator Certification**, are desirable but not required.
- **Construction Induction Safety Certificate (White Card)**.
- Valid **Australian Driver’s Licence** and reliable transport.
- Current **First Aid and CPR certification**.

**Mandatory Requirements**

To be eligible for this role, you **must**:

- Have the right to work in Australia (e.g., citizenship, permanent residency, or valid visa).
- Hold a **Construction Induction Safety Certificate (White Card)**.
- Hold a valid **Australian Driver’s Licence**.
- Provide a current and clear **National Police Check**.

**Additional Information**
- At least 1 year of relevant industry experience is required.
- Previous experience in Australian telecommunications or NBN-related roles is highly desirable.
- Client-relevant inductions and compliance with classified NDA agreements may be required.
