**The opportunity
Due to internal talent mobility, Bupa is looking for an empathetic and hands-on People Partner to join us on a permanent full time basis, based in Sydney or Brisbane with flexible work from home options, supporting Bupa Villages and Aged Care (BVAC). We are one of Australia's leading residential Aged Care providers with more than 50 care homes, supporting over 5000 residents, and you will be part of an amazing HR team that provides HR guidance and support to our Aged Care managers and employees.
As a People Partner, your main focus is to enable business leaders to effectively manage and support their people. To succeed in this role, you need significant business partnering experience with excellent stakeholders management, you thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume operational environment, and have prior experience providing HR support to a dispersed workforce. Most importantly, this role requires a high level of maturity, empathy, and ability to be calm in potentially emotionally-challenging situation.
This is a permanent full time opportunity and you can be based in Sydney or Brisbane, with very flexible work from home option.
**How will I help?**
Key accountabilities include:
- Manage ER cases end to end including employee grievances, performance issues, redundancies, bullying and harassment etc.
- Provide guidance and advice to managers as well as coach our people leaders to become proficient in managing people processes including, but not limited to organisational effectiveness, effective rostering, managing attendance, performance discussions, Enterprise Agreement, driving engagement etc
- Actively support the implementation and roll out of new and cyclical initiatives such as the performance management system, annual review process, engagement surveys and new processes and policies.
- Support the Head of People to deliver organisational re-design, deliver people plans which address the strategic and operational business needs and aligned to the overall people strategy

**What do I need?**
- Minimum 8+ years HR business partnering experience partnering with proven experience in influencing and coaching business leaders
- Demonstrated experience in managing high volume and complex end to end ER cases
- Experience partnering with different level stakeholders to provide HR advice on the full employee lifecycle to a dispersed workforce
- High level of maturity, empathy, and ability to stay calm in challenging situations.
- Execution focussed with a drive to deliver effectively on day to day operations
- Experience in generalist HR including but not limited to leadership capability, operational HR delivery, employee retention, talent management etc.
