**Who we are**
The Business Continuity and Taskforce Coordination Support Team (BC&TCS) is a small team within the Business Services Branch, Corporate Division. We provide a ‘one stop shop’ for new taskforces, bodies and functions within PM&C thereby facilitating streamlined access to key enabling services for seamless taskforce establishment and closure. Additionally, we oversee the Business Continuity (BC) framework, coordinating divisional Business Continuity Plans (BCPs), disruption rehearsals, staff education and reporting to ensure PM&C is prepared to respond to business disruption events. As a small and dynamic team our staff work across functions, embracing flexibility, collaboration and innovation.
**What you will do**
There are two (2) roles available within the team, both of which offer the opportunity to work across the two functions of our inclusive, dynamic, flexible and vibrant team.
Engagement Role:
- Support the coordination of taskforces by organising regular meetings, monitoring issues, following up on concerns, and clearing obstacles
- Lead the engagement and management of small taskforces, contributing strategically where necessary
- Prepare content for meetings, including agendas, products and talking points
- Provide guidance on taskforce resourcing, design template documents, and map processes
- Maintain intranet content, guidance material, and standard operating procedures
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders through proactive outreach, regular updates, and addressing concerns effectively
- Undertake project work with limited direction, managing ad hoc tasks as they arise
- Provide cross functional support to Business Continuity operations
Business Continuity Role:
- Support the management of the department’s BC Framework, processes and plans
- Identify and drive initiatives to improve our BC processes
- Conduct educational briefings with incoming staff responsible for BC, ensuring they understand their accountabilities
- Plan, conduct and review disruption rehearsals; identify issues, recommend solutions, and lead outcomes
- Prepare correspondence for meetings, including agendas, products and talking points
- Manage the department’s emergency notification system, testing register, and maintain operating procedures and guidance material
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders through proactive outreach, regular updates, and addressing concerns effectively
- Undertake project work with limited direction, managing ad hoc tasks as they arise
- Provide cross functional support to taskforce operations

Prior experience working with senior executives is desirable but not essential. Prior experience working in business continuity for the BC role is desirable but not essential.

The Engagement Role requires a Baseline clearance.
The Business Continuity Role requires the ability to obtain a Negative Vetting 1.
