**About Us**:
The Gleaming Tribe is a faith-based community dedicated to creating a safe, supportive environment where Christians can connect, grow spiritually, and find encouragement. As part of our commitment to serving families, we’re looking for dedicated and caring volunteers to assist as **Kids Minders** during our next event.

**Position Overview**:
As a Kids Minder, you’ll help provide a safe, nurturing, and engaging space for children while their parents or guardians participate in our event. The kids are generally between 2-5years old. This role requires individuals who are patient, reliable, and passionate about working with children, and who meet the necessary requirements, including holding a valid **Working With Children Check (WWCC)**.

**Responsibilities**:

- Supervise and engage with children in a safe and caring manner.
- Organize age-appropriate activities such as games, crafts, or storytime.
- Monitor children to ensure their safety and well-being during the event.
- Communicate with parents or guardians as needed about their child’s needs.
- Assist in setting up and packing up the kids’ area.
- Adhere to child safety policies and procedures at all times.

**Requirements**:

- A valid **Working With Children Check (WWCC)** (must be obtained prior to the event).
- Experience working with children (e.g., babysitting, teaching, or volunteering roles).
- Patience, kindness, and a love for working with kids.
- Ability to create a fun, inclusive, and safe environment.
- Commitment to upholding the values and mission of The Gleaming Tribe.
