Job Description

**Your Opportunity to Join Our Team - Machine Operators Wanted**

We’re looking for **Machine Operators** to join our **Prestons Distribution Centre**, with opportunities available across both day and night shifts.

In this hands-on role, you’ll operate machinery safely and efficiently, perform manual handling tasks, and help us deliver top-quality products every day.

**Daily Tasks**:

- Operate and monitor machinery to meet production targets while ensuring food safety and HACCP compliance
- Perform manual handling tasks, including lifting, pushing, and bending (up to 20 kg)
- Picker and packer duties as required
- Conduct quality checks to ensure products meet specifications and report issues promptly
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including storing materials, equipment, and tools
- Identify and escalate food safety or quality concerns, hazards, and risks
- Support the team in achieving productivity targets

**You Will Bring to This Role**:

- Forklift licence **required** with demonstrated experience operating forklifts safely and confidently
- Previous experience as a picker/packer in a fast-paced environment
- Physically fit and able to repetitively lift, push, and pull items between 5 kg to 20 kg
- Ability to understand and follow instructions and procedures
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively and contribute to a positive team environment
- Flexibility and a willingness to work across various shifts as needed
