**Job Description**:
The People and Culture Business Partner will work within our Finance and Sales areas, reporting into the Head of People and Culture. You will play a critical role in delivering strategy and business transformation, supporting Executive leadership teams, building capability, and managing high impact change - ultimately driving business outcomes through our people initiatives.
**Finance **(75%)
- Sitting on the Finance Leadership Team and partnering with our CFO, you will be the voice of our end-to-end People Strategy within Nine Finance. This will include the development and implementation of a People plan and initiatives in line with Business Strategy.
- In conjunction with the Finance Leadership Team and Director of Transformation - lead the Finance business through a program of change and transformation over the next 12 months from a people perspective
- Partner with Finance people leaders to implement our Future Finance People Initiatives already in place - based around talent development, Career planning and Wellbeing
- Develop relationships with Finance people leaders to partner and provide daily advice, support and guidance around people
**Sales** (25%)
- Be responsible for driving key people initiatives across the Sales business including initiatives such as Sales Academy L&D, Development plans, Talent & Succession, Leadership Assessments, and reward & recognition programs
- Provide day-to-day advice and support to Senior Sales People Leaders (e.g., coaching, counselling, career development, disciplinary actions).
- Assistance with Nine commission scheme to ensure business outcomes across Nine
- Working with the Head of People and Culture and two other BPs, developing and implementing an innovative people strategy across Sales, Radio & Finance that enables us to attract, develop and retain key talent
- Actively support the COE’s in the P&C team to provide input into their initiatives and support roll out where needed - Play an active role in the Finance, Sales & Radio BP team - including pro-active development of new people initiatives, team collaboration and support to the team coordinator
**General**
- Working with the Head of People and Culture and two other BPs, developing and implementing an innovative people strategy across Sales, Radio & Finance that enables us to attract, develop and retain key talent
- Actively support the COE’s in the P&C team to provide input into their initiatives and support roll out where needed
- Play an active role in the Sales, Finance & Radio BP team - including pro-active development of new people initiatives, team collaboration and support to the team coordinator.
**Qualifications**:

- An engaging communication style that can adapt between Sales and Finance
- A strong ability to influence senior stakeholders to drive business outcomes
- Experience developing leaders and driving culture in collaboration with a leadership team
- Resilience and drive - a passion to drive outcomes in sometimes challenging circumstances
- Be prepared to switch between strategy and hands-on business partnering
**Essential experience & skills**
- Solid previous experience as a HR Business Partner - partnering with senior stakeholders (experience with Finance teams preferable)
- Demonstrated experience negotiating with and influencing Senior
- Managers ensuring proactive and commercially focussed HR solutions that align business needs and people strategy
- Strong understanding of strategic role of HR in the business and demonstrated capacity to align actions with bigger picture
- Knowledge of best practice people practices including employee relations, recruitment, reward, performance management, talent development and engagement
- Demonstrated experience in leading change initiatives and managing
- complex people projects
- Confident presenter and written communicator - able to adapt style and influence culture through communications
- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or a related discipline is desirable
