**Purpose of the role**
We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic individual to join our established and hard-working Finance team. This is a 12 month parental leave cover to ensure our team continues to effectively service our valuable clients.
This role is responsible for the debt collection of outstanding invoices to ensure funds are recovered in an appropriate manner and to provide administrative support to the Accounts Receivable Officer. This role works alongside an established team of Finance Officers, Payroll, Accounting and Accounts Payable personnel.
**Responsibilities**
- Process and allocate EFT’s to customer accounts
- Decommissioning of private and CIB customer accounts; ensuring payment and invoicing options are correctly established or terminated respectively for each client
- Processing of Private and Corporate remittances. Allocating and posting to customer accounts
**Experience and Requirements**
- Experience with accounts receivable, ERP’s and data entry
- Demonstrated ability to accurately enter information to enable accurate generation of management accounts
- Proven experience in a customer service-driven organisation with outstanding communication skills and the ability to liaise with both internal and external clients maintaining confidentiality where appropriate
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage own work objectives
- Demonstrated understanding of the principles of exceptional customer service, including the ability to empathise with people in need and be responsive to client needs
