**About the School**:
Harlaxton State School is a primary school in a North Toowoomba suburb with approximately 200 students.

**About the Role**:
**Duties include**:

- Cleaning surfaces and fixtures
- Cleaning toilets and offices
- Cobweb control
- Rubbish removal
- Dusting and vacuuming
- Other cleaning duties as required and using equipment such as floor buffers and polishers, hoses, gurneys and leaf blowers

**About You**:
The ideal applicant must be able to work as part of a small team, use and maintain equipment and chemicals and work to safety standards at all times.

**A mandatory requirement of this role is**:

- In accordance with the Working with Children (Risk Management and Screening) Act 2000 a person is prohibited from working in regulated child-related employment unless the person holds a current Working with Children Check clearance (blue card) issued by Blue Card Services.
- Criminal History check and 3 month probation if successful.
