Today, Goombungee State School is a Prep to Year 6, co-educational school, with approximately 100 students. We are located in a beautiful rural setting, 46km's north of Toowoomba. Our school motto "Working together" and school values of Co-operation, Achievement, Responsibility, and Excellence (CARE) form the basis of everything we do. We CARE about each and every student and work together to ensure that every day, every child in every classroom is accessing quality education. **Your Role**: As Teacher Aide you will, - Contribute to the provision of a quality educational service by assisting and supporting teachers with the preparation and enhancement of learning materials and associated activities. - The role will include targeted and clearly planned 1 on 1 supports for students with additional needs, small group interventions, engaging with Prep student's learning and general group work with students. **About You**: - Applicants will require flexibility, a strong knowledge of intervention strategies and a keenness to work collaboratively with teachers and teacher aides. - A strong knowledge of the teaching of reading, reading comprehension and literacy conventions is a vital for this role, as is experience working with children with additional needs and behavioural complexities.
