**About the role**

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team at KASSA. In this role, you’ll be responsible for the general cleaning and housekeeping of guest units and common areas, ensuring all spaces meet a high standard of hygiene and presentation.

Duties include vacuuming, mopping, dusting, kitchen and bathroom cleaning, bed making, and preparing rooms for incoming guests. You’ll also help maintain outdoor areas, report maintenance issues, and complete health and safety checks. Working as part of a supportive team, you'll contribute to a safe, welcoming, and respectful environment for all guests while delivering excellent customer service.

**About you**

You’ll have a high level of customer service and attention to detail and excellent customer service skills. You’ll also have strong time management and organisational skills and be able to juggle tasks effectively.

In addition, you will also possess:

- Experience in commercial, industrial or domestic cleaning is preferred
- Ability to work with and communicate effectively and sensitively with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people
- Strong communication skills
- National Police Clearance (obtained within the last six months)
