Workfast is seeking a General Hand to join our client based in Bayswater, WA.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working outdoors, contributing to the upkeep of community parks, ovals, and gardens, while being part of a supportive crew. The successful candidate will have recent experience in a similar role.

What You Get

  • $40.00 per hour + penalties
  • Monday - Friday, 6:00am - 3:30pm (penalties after 8 hours worked)
  • 9-day fortnight with a rostered day off (unpaid)
  • Depot facilities including showers, lockers, tea/coffee, and occasional BBQ breakfasts
  • Work as part of a collaborative 4-person crew

What You Need

  • Current MR Licence minimum (MR and above encouraged to apply)
  • National Police Clearance (within 6 months)
  • Physically fit and able to perform manual labour outdoors all day
  • At least 2 years' recent experience with ride-on mowers, turf edging, whipper snippers, hedging, and herbicide spraying
  • Strong communication skills and emotional intelligence to work well in a small team environment

What You'll Be Doing

  • Maintaining parks, sporting ovals, and community gardens
  • Operating equipment including ride-on mowers, whipper snippers, and turf edgers
  • Performing hedging, spraying, and general grounds maintenance tasks
  • Supporting your crew in delivering safe, high-quality outdoor services
