**The Opportunity**
As a Waste Administration & Finance Officer in the City of Perth, you will provide project, financial management and administrative support to the Waste and Cleaning team and ensures the provision of high-quality customer service to all internal and external customers.
Reporting to the Waste and Cleaning Manager within our Operations team, your responsibilities would primarily include:
- Actively obtain relevant information, creatively identify solutions to problems, resiliently respond to correspondence received via shared inboxes, and manage correspondence registers for the team;
- Autonomously capture robust data for the updating and management of databases and associated administrative;
- Maintain nominated operating budgets related to the City’s waste and cleaning services; and
- Foster, advocate and implement the City’s Customer Service Charter.
**About You**
To succeed in this role, you will possess:
- Demonstrated experience in researching, analysing, summarising and actioning general administrative and financial matters;
- Demonstrated ability to use initiative and problem solve;
- Well-developed verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to produce moderately complex correspondence, reports, publications, and presentations; and
- Autonomous ability to effectively organise as well as adapt own time and workload to meet deadlines despite conflicting priorities.

**Eligibility**
To be eligible to work for us, you will need to demonstrate:
- A right to work in Australia (e.g. a birth certificate, current passport or current visa);
- A current ‘C’ class Australian drivers licence; and
