With more than 70 years' of experience in the building and home improvement markets, Stratco is one of Australia's largest manufacturers, marketers and retailers of quality building and home improvement products.

As a Stratco Production Team Member (Purlin Operator) you will be a key member of our Operations team based at Gepps Cross and will be required to manufacture and assemble steel products for our trade and retail customer base.

**Responsibilities**:

- Manufacturing goods to the customers' requirements
- Flashing operations including operating metal folding, roll form and pressing machines
- Operating roll form and general sheet metal equipment
- Picking and packing items for customers
- Interpreting product drawings
- Training in the use of specific items of plant and equipment
- Demonstrate attention to detail and be quality assurance focused
- Adhere to Stratco Safety and other policies and procedures

**Key skills and attributes**:

- Experience using Sheetmetal manufacturing equipment, particularly roll form machines and metal bending machinery (folders, press & breaks) will be highly regarded
- Current Forklift License (High Risk License) preferred
- Effective problem solver who can develop solutions that meet the customers’ needs
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Commitment to producing quality products
- Ability to work in a team environment

**This is a permanent full-time opportunity working Afternoon Shift (3:30pm - 11:30pm) with overtime available.**
