**THE OPPORTUNITY**

Due to the installation of our new, state of the art automated duplex folder at Stratco Pty Ltd's Gepps Cross HQ, we are on the lookout for a keen and enthusiastic flashings operator to become a valued member of our team, producing various metal flashings as we look to transition from labor intensive to fully automated folding operations.

**This is permanent, full-time opportunity working day or afternoon shift with overtime and weekend work available.**

**Location**:Gepps Cross, South Australia.

**Remuneration**:Negotiable hourly rate based on relevant qualifications and/or experience.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Undergo automated duplex folder training to utilise automated functions
- Interpret product drawings to program the folding machine according to specifications
- Manual handling of finished flashings post-folding
- Conduct basic preventative and breakdown maintenance in liaison with the maintenance team
- Work with the automation and innovations team to achieve maximum efficiency and output of the automated machine
- Participate in training in the use of other plant and machinery as required
- Collaborate with team members, other business areas and projects as required
- Strict adherence to our critical safety rules & contributing to a safe working environment

**ABOUT YOU**
- Experience using sheet metal manufacturing equipment, particularly roll form machines and metal bending machinery (folders, brake press etc)
- Experience in conducting basic preventative and breakdown maintenance
- Comfortable using technology for the purpose of machinery programming
- Effective problem solver who can develop solutions that meet the customers’ needs
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Commitment to producing quality products
- Willingness to enhance the customer experience by working with enthusiasm, energy, and pace
