- This is a permanent part-time position, 19 hours per week with varying start and finish times across Monday-Friday. There may also be some weekend hours if/when required.- Primarily based at The Wesley Hospital, you may also be required to travel to our other Hospital sites to provide support as we roll out our Room Service model across all UnitingCare Hospitals.**Your role**:
- We have a newly created position available for a Nutrition and Dietetics professional, to join our Food Services team as a Database Administrator as we transition to a Room Service model at the Wesley Hospital.- Reporting to the Hospitality Services Manager, and indirectly to the Head of Profession - Nutrition, the Database Administrator will be responsible for managing the Wesley Hospitals data hierarchy within the electronic menu management system “CBORD” and all integrated modules including NetMenu, Tray Logistics, Mobile Intake, Malnutrition Module and Room Service Choice.- An integral link between the Food Services and Nutrition Departments, you will work cooperatively and effectively within various multidisciplinary teams and ensure staff are adequately skilled and appropriately trained in the CBORD system to deliver services in a safe and effective manner.- To be successful in this role you will need:
- Qualification in Nutrition and Dietetics and be eligible for full membership with the Dietitians Association of Australia, with Accredited Practicing Dietitian (APD) status.
- Experience in a healthcare setting
- Ability to work within a team environment and to work with little supervision
- Demonstrated ability to initiate, undertake and evaluate clinical and/or service delivery improvement and/or research activities with a particular interest in food services
- Well-developed planning and organisational skills
- Demonstrated ability to act as an advocate and achieve outcomes for nutrition and foodservice related issues
- Sound knowledge of workplace and personal hygiene practices
- Demonstrates a strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Sound influencing skills in order to gain support or to have a specific impact on others
**Remuneration value**:
- $51.80 - $55.94 p/h + Super + $15,900 NFP Salary Packaging Value + Shift Penalties/Allowances + Discounted Onsite Staff Parking**What we offer**:
