**The Role**
Due to recent growth, Exact Contracting are looking for an experienced Safety Superintendent to join their team and work on remote civil construction projects in Central Australia.

Reporting to the Project Manager, you will be responsible for taking lead of and driving safety of all project activities on-site.

**Responsibilities will include**:

- Maintaining & providing leadership in HSE matters on site to establish a strong safety culture;
- Reinforcing Exact Contracting’s commitment to safety on site;
- Ensuring processes are in place to monitor and comply with any legislative requirements and standards related to HSE;
- Providing support to all project personnel, internal and external, to achieve their WHS and environmental responsibilities;
- Completion of time in field and safety observations;
- Assisting with Incident investigation including ICAM investigations and report writing;
- Ensuring all compliance and reporting requirements are met as per client requirement.

**The successful applicant will have**:

- Current driver’s license;
- Relevant WHS Qualifications (Minimum Cert IV);
- Cert IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116 upgrade);
- Strong understanding legislative WHS requirements;
- 5 years minimum experience civil & mining operations;
- Ability to communicate and liaise with internal and external stakeholders;
- High level consultative, interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills; and
- Ability and understanding of Microsoft Office and safety/training systems.
