As a** Policy and Project Officer**, you will support Government investment decisions and risk management in the development and delivery of projects and programs in order to successfully achieve outcomes.

You will develop Gateway policies, procedures, and process documents, and assist Gateway review managers to coordinate REAF gateway meetings, projects and associated reporting activities. This role may also include seasonal involvement in the Annual Appropriation Management, and the Financial Management Policy Administration responsibilities.

**About the Team**
- The _**_Financial & Operations Group (FOG) _**_provides financial reporting and analysis for the key stakeholders of the State, including citizens and government, and stewards the Sector in financial management, accounting policy, and risk to ensure sound governance, assurance and regulatory frameworks that support financial control, effective decision making and delivery of high quality and timely financial information._
- The _**_Financial Management Legislation, Policy and Administration_**_ team is responsible for stewardship of the Financial Management Framework which applies to the NSW public sector. This includes implementation of the Government Sector Finance Act 2018, oversight of Treasury Performance and Financial Management Framework, as well as development, implementation and administration of policies and guidelines that improve financial management capability and performance across the sector. This includes administration of the State’s appropriation framework and coordination of the Gateway Assurance process under the Recurrent Expenditure Assurance Framework._
