An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced administrator to join a team within a business area that is unique to that of others in the NSW Public Sector.
The Policy & Project Officer is responsible for the coordination & development of a range of projects and supports the development of policies within the Operational Capability & Performance team & Office of the Sheriff NSW.
**What you’ll do**
The Policy & Projects Officer will complete tasks such as the following:
- Provide a high level of project management & support services to the project team
- Undertake research & analysis required for the project
- Collate & maintain information for the purpose of preparing relevant project documentation including discussion papers, briefs, and submissions
- Communicate with key stakeholders and coordinate working groups, committee meetings, and stakeholder consultations to support engagement as well as policy and project development and implementation
**What we’re looking for**
- Have excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines in a legally regulated environment
- Have demonstrable experience in project management with experience in reviewing, monitoring, and working to improve the effectiveness of service delivery
- Have commitment to customer service by developing and maintaining effective working relationships with key stakeholders to deliver business and client service improvements
- Sound understanding of relevant policies along with the ability prepare and interpret complex project documentation
