**About the role**

The Training Manager is responsible for the successful delivery of all training programs (State and Federal funded, traineeships, full qualifications, skill sets, short courses, and fee for service offerings) and trainer management in the VET Division. Reporting to the National Training and Education Manager, the Training Manager will oversee trainer and resource management so all courses meet customer needs, compliance requirements and contractual obligations.

**Responsibilities**
- Manage training and assessment operations in line with management’s strategy and priorities to ensure that they are financially and ethically viable to support the achievement of business objectives
- Identify opportunities and develop initiatives to improve training program service offerings for both accredited and non-accredited courses
- Manage and organise the delivery, timetables, and schedules of live webinars (lectures and tutorials), face-to-face workshops, blended learning models, short courses, etc
- Work collaboratively with key internal and external stakeholders to identify customer cross-referral opportunities and new training service offerings
- Ensure overall compliance of VET programs with all relevant external bodies - including contractual requirements, quality assurance, accreditation, and legislative requirements
- Ensure all VET and training program VET Trainer/Assessors comply with regulatory standards to deliver service offerings, including maintaining industry currency, professional development, trainer matrices etc.
- Creating policies and procedures for effective management of VET Trainer/Assessors
