**THE ROLE**

The role of the Manager, Child Protection Priority Reforms is to manage key policy and project activities related to the reform of the Child Protection Program. This will include the supervision, coordination and development of Principal and Senior Policy and Project Officers within the team.

**ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE**
- Strategically design and develop the delivery of departmental objectives that impact significant localised service delivery and meet statewide departmental and government objectives and community expectations.
- Maintain an understanding of issues impacting the department's clients and investigate and lead critical projects that develop and review policies, professional standards and operating practices that enhance service delivery, budget effectiveness, efficiency and improved client outcomes.
- Forge strong connections across the department and with external stakeholders to facilitate a partnership approach.
