**ABOUT THE ROLE**

This role is a **Permanent position on Dayshift 40hrs per week roster,**DIDO from our **Worsley Alumina Refinery**, which is a short drive from Collie (15 minutes), Bunbury (45 minutes) and other nearby scenic communities

Reporting to the Vice President, the **Manager Business Improvement** will lead the development and execution of operational improvement strategies, foster a culture of continuous improvement, and enhance operational efficiency across multiple sites.

**Other key responsibilities include, but aren’t limited to**:

- Collaborating with the Operations Leadership Team to define and implement clear improvement strategies.
- Managing and coaching the Business Improvement team to drive successful project delivery.
- Overseeing the development and management of the operations business plan in alignment with the South32 Business Planning process.
- Acting as the primary interface and champion for the South32 Technical Function, ensuring integration into operations.

**ABOUT YOU**

You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:

- Leading cross-functional teams to deliver complex improvement initiatives.
- Utilising improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, and Theory of Constraints to drive operational excellence.
- Building strong relationships with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to achieve business objectives.

**Qualifications for this position are**:

- Relevant tertiary qualification such as a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree
- Additional finance or commercial qualification is desirable
