Our client is seeking an experienced Program Officer for an initial 3 months contract.

**ROLE**

As a Program Support Officer, you will be responsible for the following activities:

- Assist in the effective administration and delivery of the organisations programs and strategies.
- Contribute to the provision of operational policy and program advice, including the interpretation of program guidelines, eligibility criteria and operational policies in the day-to-day administration and delivery of training and skills programs.
- Liaise with community-based organisations on new and existing contractual or program requirements and responsibilities.
- Interrogate, extract and organise data from departmental databases to support the performance monitoring, statistical analyses and reporting functions of Training and Skills Pathways.
- Manage complex workloads, meet deadlines and commitments and complete tasks within a tight timeframe independently and within a team.
- Monitor performance of training and skills programs, providers and stakeholders to determine the achievement of agreed outcomes.
- Prepare reports and other correspondence on a range of issues, particularly in relation to the performance of programs and providers and other aspects relevant to program contract management responsibilities.
- Utilise database and information systems to organise, extract and present data to support performance monitoring.
