We are on the search for an experienced and highly motivated **Payroll Officer **to join our William Adams People & Culture team. Based in our newly renovated Support Office in **Clayton**, you will report directly to the Payroll Manager.

**ABOUT THE ROLE**

Your primary objective is to process the fortnightly and monthly payrolls in accordance with legislation, policies, procedures, and awards.

**Key responsibilities of this role include**:

- Ensuring timely and accurate processing of payroll for 650+ employees
- Reconciling general ledger payroll accounts
- Reviewing and auditing payroll data and reporting on findings, while fixing any inaccuracies
- Payment of annual incentives, ensuring accuracy with tax, workers compensation and superannuation calculations

**ABOUT YOU**

You are an experienced Payroll Officer, who is adaptable and has a continuous improvement mindset. You thrive on being a self starter, who prides yourself on friendly, speedy and accurate customer service.

Attention to detail is your number one strength, you find a needle in a haystack and you work hard to uncover why it was there and how we can ensure it isn’t found again.

**To be considered for this role you will have the following skills and attributes**:

- Extensive payroll experience in a similar role, working with an automated payroll environment - such as ADP, Kronos, SAP and others
- Proven skills and ability to interpret, analyse and summarise data
- Impeccable attention to detail
- Experience working to tight time frames
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
- Confidence in communicating with all levels of employees and leaders
