**The opportunity**
Vacenti is seeking multiple **Full time Nursing Assistant**to join our care team at our sites at Casa Damore located at Coorparoo, Esida at Mount Gravatt East, Lorocco at Carindale, Sylvan Woods at Birkdale, Marebello at Victoria Point and Portofino at Hamilton, QLD.Reporting to and working closely with the Registered Nurses, Care Coordinator and/or Clinical Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our residents are provided exceptional care and services daily.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Assisting residents with personal hygiene and care such as bathing, grooming, dressing, bowel and bladder care
- Take and record residents vital signs and weight
- Observe and record residents' condition, food, liquid intake and other behaviours, and report changes to supervisor
- Assist residents with mobility i.e walkers, wheelchairs and other devices
- Make beds, and maintain clean and safe environments for residents
- Lift, transport, and move residents using the appropriate techniques
- Treat all residents, family, and other visitors with respect.
- Comply with all safety and health regulations
**To be considered, you will need**:
- Caring attitude and enthusiasm about aged care
- Demonstrated a positive attitude and commitment to the organisation
- Presents in a professional, well-groomed manner that demonstrates respect for our residents at all times.
- Experience in caring for the elderly in either a community or aged care setting.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the provision of professional care.
- High level spoken and written English literacy skills.
- A current National Police Certificate

**How to Apply**
Pay: $29.46 - $32.14 per hour
Expected hours: 45 - 60 per week
