Summerset Cranbourne North is preparing to open its brand-new care centre - a premium facility set in a beautiful, established village that will soon be the heart of aged care in the region. This is a unique opportunity to lead from day one, build your own team, and shape the culture and care standards in a state-of-the-art environment.
**We’re on the lookout for an inspirational and experienced Residence Manager to lead this exciting new chapter. You’ll play a critical role in establishing a high-performing team of Nurses and Personal Care Assistants, and ensure we continue to deliver the exceptional care we’re known for.

This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, with some occasional on-call responsibilities that include weekends and nights.

**What you’ll be doing**:
Reporting to the Village Operations Manager, you’ll be responsible for the care centre’s daily operations and strategic leadership, including:

- Full accountability for staffing, budgeting, and compliance
- Leading and coaching your team with a strong focus on recruitment, development, and recognition
- Overseeing the delivery of care and services for all village residents which includes residential aged care, Independent and Assisted Living residents
- Building meaningful relationships with residents, their families, and stakeholders - and being their trusted point of contact, especially in sensitive situations
- Supporting sound clinical decision-making and ensuring quality care at all times
- Managing audits, policy implementation, and working with DOH, ACQSC, and other key external agencies
- Driving a strong, connected team culture across the village

**Qualifications**:
You bring proven experience in clinical settings and a deep understanding of Australia’s aged care sector. As a seasoned manager, you're ready to embrace a new challenge—driven by a passion for leading teams, delivering high-quality outcomes, and making a meaningful difference in people’s lives.
