**The Role**

The Power Station Operator is responsible for day-to-day monitoring, operating, maintenance, and repair of power generation equipment at various customer sites. This role requires a highly skilled and safety-conscious individual with excellent technical knowledge of power generation equipment and systems.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Ensure compliance with safety policies and procedures and promote a safe working environment for all employees and contractors.
- Repair and maintain power generation equipment at customer sites, ensuring all safety protocols are followed and equipment is fully operational.
- Conduct preventative and reactive maintenance of power generation equipment, including troubleshooting and diagnosing all electrical issues.
- Respond to emergency repair calls and breakdowns in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring mínimal downtime for the customer.
- Keep accurate records of work performed, including parts used, labour hours, and expenses, and provide detailed reports to the Power Station Manager.
- Maintain a high level of client satisfaction by providing exceptional customer service and communicating effectively with customers to ensure their needs are met.
- Participate in safety meetings and training programs.
- Work collaboratively with other technicians and support staff to ensure all work is completed in a timely and efficient manner.

**About You**:

- Relevant Trade certification.
- Minimum of 3-5 years' experience working with power generation equipment.
- Strong technical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and diagnose complex issues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and team members.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to safety.
