**Role Description/Criteria**

St Peter's East Bentleigh School is committed to the safety, well being and protection of all the children in our care. We are seeking suitably qualified people with a commitment to the ethos of Catholic education for the following positions:
St Peter's is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated teacher to join our team in a part time position as a Numeracy Support Teacher. The position will be Monday to Wednesday or Tuesday to Thursday

The position will commence on 28th January 2025. You will be joining a school community who are committed to improving the learning for every student. We work in teams and have high standards that inspire us to consistently improve.

The successful applicant will have the capacity to:

- provide effective differentiated teaching in the key areas of numeracy
- build and maintain positive relationships with students, colleagues and parents
- work flexibly and collaboratively within staff teams
- support the Catholic ethos of the school and teach the Religious Education program
- provide engaging learning opportunities in Mathematics

The successful applicant will require
- VIT registration (or in the process of obtaining)
- Accreditation to teach in a Catholic school (or in the process of obtaining or be willing to obtain within two years).
