**Role Description/Criteria**

St Peter's School Bentleigh East, is committed to the safety, wellbeing and protection of all children in our care. We are seeking suitably qualified people with a commitment to the ethos of Catholic education for the following positions:

- Fixed Term Contract Year 2 Classroom Teacher
- Fixed Term Contract Year 3 Classroom Teacher

St Peter's is seeking two enthusiastic and motivated teachers to join our team in full time classroom teaching positions, from the start of Term 2 2025 until the conclusion of the 2025 school year.

Graduate Teachers are encouraged to apply

The positions will commence on Tuesday 22 April 2025.

The successful applicant will have the capacity to:

- Provide effective differentiated teaching in the key areas of literacy and numeracy
- Build and maintain positive relationships with students, colleagues and parents
- Work collaboratively and cohesively within staff teams
- Support the Catholic ethos of the school and teach the Religious Education program
- Provide engaging learning opportunities across the curriculum

The successful applicant will require
- VIT registration (or in the process of obtaining)
- Accreditation to teach Religious Education in a Catholic school (or in the process of obtaining or be willing to obtain within two years).
