Finance Officer required for an exciting long term temporary opportunity, working for a WA leading institute based in Perth CBD

Our client, an Australian service business, is seeking to appoint a Senior Finance Officer for an long term temporary opportunity based at their offices in Perth CBD. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responisble for the successful leadership of an established customer finance team.

**Duties**:

- Develop a customer service focused team that engages with stakeholders to provide strategic financial support and identify continuous improvement opportunities.
- Plan, negotiate and coordinate workloads to ensure the accounting tasks are completed on time and in a professional manner, compliant with applicable legislation and accounting standards.
- Assist with the contiuous development and improvement of finance functions, systems and processes
- Guide, coach and support the development of staff.
- Maintain accuracy whilst working under pressure to meet deadlines, sound communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ad hoc duties as required

**Requirements**:

- **Essential - **3-5 years as AP/AR team leader
- Intermediate MS Excel skills
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, confident communicating with stakeholders at all levels
- Customer focused
- Strong attention to details
- **Essential - **Previous experience with computerised accountancy packages
