**About the Commission**

**About the Role**
The Principal Adviser Change and Suppression Practices role will lead and support the Commission to deliver functions under the Change and Suppression Practices Prohibition Act (2021). The Act bans change or suppression practices and provides a range of options for preventing and responding to these practices. The role will lead engagement with survivor groups, institutions and organisations for the Commission's education and information functions, including education services within the Commission's civil response scheme.
The Principal Adviser will lead on the development and evaluation of innovative and evidence-based information and education programs, and conceptualise and develop resources in relation to change and suppression practices. As a key component of the role, the Principal Adviser will lead the Commission's submission on the two-year review of the Change and suppression Practice Prohibition Act.To learn more about this role before applying, please read the attached position description.
**About you**
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Experience in development, delivery and evaluation of information and education services, including tailored face-to-face, digital and blended programs, tools and resources
- Relevant understanding of beliefs, customs, needs and expectations of individuals, groups and organisations in relation to change and suppression practices or the ability to quickly acquire.
**Qualifications**
- A relevant tertiary qualification or commensurate professional experience.
