Salary Classification: Clerk Grade 9/10 ($116,211 - $128,061) with a total remuneration package up to $143,236 per annum

**About the Australian Museum**

Australian Museum (AM) is located on the homelands of the Gadigal people. The AM acknowledges and pays respect to the Gadigal people as the custodians of the land, sky and waterways, paying respect to Elders past and present.

The Australian Museum (AM) operating within the NSW Department of Enterprise, Investment & Trade cluster, is the first museum in Australia and was founded in 1827.

The AM provides access, engagement and scientific research to increase our understanding of natural history and culture, particularly of the Australasian region. The AM holds more than 22 million objects of biological, geological and cultural collections and develops programs, exhibitions and school and community education initiatives onsite, online and offsite.

**About the role**

This opportunity will work with other peers across other cultural institutions in Australia and, as necessary, globally.

The role will report directly to Director Technology and be part of the AM overall technical leadership team as we continue to deliver the museum's technical road maps.

**About you**

We are seeking a motivated, proactive and experienced professional with a solid track record of success in a similar role.

**Knowledge & Experience**
- Experience managing vendors and their overall performance
- Experience with software and specialised collection management software i.e. Emu, and Digital Asset management software e.g. Fotoware
- Experience with managing the needs and requirements for software integrations
- Experience in setting the direction and strategy for collection and digital asset management practices within a mid-sized organisation (250+ people)
- Must of 4+ years’ experience with Fotoware & Emu software packages (or similar software types)
- Experience managing teams greater then 5 people for longer then 5 years
