Shape Exceptional Living Experiences — Lead Hospitality with Heart and Purpose.
Anglicare is seeking an inspiring and commercially savvy Head of Hotelling Services to lead our hospitality operations across residential care homes. In this impactful leadership role, you’ll oversee catering, cleaning, laundry, and concierge services—ensuring residents enjoy a warm, safe, and welcoming environment every day. You’ll drive operational excellence, lead high-performing teams, and champion person-centred service delivery while balancing quality, compliance, and cost-effectiveness.
Your opportunity- Operational Leadership: Oversee and optimise daily hotelling operations across all homes, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and a homelike atmosphere.- Team Culture & Development: Lead a high-performing team with clarity, compassion and purpose—upholding Anglicare’s mission and values in every interaction.- Strategic & Commercial Insight: Provide expert advice, deliver data-driven improvement plans, and develop business cases with clear ROI and service uplift.- Resident Experience: Champion person-centred care by enhancing comfort, safety, food quality and feedback engagement.- Financial & Compliance Oversight: Manage a $25M budget, support procurement excellence, and ensure adherence to regulations and best practice.- Embrace Anglicare’s values, acting with integrity, compassion, and excellence in everything you do.
About you
You’re a natural leader with a hospitality heart and commercial head. With senior experience in hotel, facilities, or residential services (ideally in aged care or health), you bring a deep understanding of operational excellence, team leadership, and service innovation. You’re someone who sees opportunity in challenges and always puts people first—residents and staff alike.- Compassionate and proactive leader with a background in hospitality- Strong customer-focused mindset with a commitment to resident satisfaction- Financially literate and commercially aware, balancing quality and cost- Excellent communication and negotiation skills across all levels- Skilled at problem-solving and confident in making sound decisions- Able to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environments- Experienced in leading diverse teams across multiple service areas- Dedicated to high standards, quality outcomes, and continuous improvement- Solutions-focused approach to enhance service quality and operational success
Qualifications and Experience- Tertiary qualification in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline- Demonstrated leadership experience in hospitality management, ideally within residential aged care or a healthcare environment- In-depth understanding of health, safety, and hygiene regulations relevant to residential care settings- Solid working knowledge of legislative requirements governing hotel services in aged care, including evolving industry standards and compliance frameworks- Proven ability to operate within Work Health and Safety (WHS) legislation and promote a safe working environment- Current driver’s licence and flexibility to travel as required
