At BodeWell community care we provide support to our aged care clients that need assistance with Domestic cleaning. We deliver in home care, that will include domestic, cleaning and occasionally off the list shopping. Our home care Domestic cleaners will promote and maintain client’s independence, respect, dignity, choice, and privacy. We want to make sure that our workers maintain a safe and professional relationship with clients while understanding and being respectful of their individuality and diversity.

**About the role**

We are looking for Domestic cleaners who can work casually across Melbourne's south/ Eastern suburbs. The duties will include basic household tasks such as household cleaning (internal), bed making, dishwashing, clothes washing, ironing, hanging clothes out, assistance with meal preparation and unaccompanied shopping.

You must be prepared to travel within reason and ideally be available to work across 3-4 days per week, you would be visiting multiple homes per day locally and be paid kilometre allowance travelling between clients.

**About you**:
You must have some cleaning experience and good communication skills. You will promote and maintain client’s independence, respect, dignity, choice, and privacy. We want to make sure that our workers maintain a safe and professional relationship with clients while understanding and being respectful.

**The duties will include**
- Cleaning common areas
- Vacuuming
- Moping
- Dusting
- Laundry/washing/ironing
- Mandatory reporting required such as incidents/hazard
- Travelling between clients
- unaccompanied shopping

**To be considered for this flexible and rewarding role it is essential to provide the following**:

- Have valid driver’s licence
- Have reliable car and Insurance.
- Current police check within 2.5 years
- Be available to work mornings, Mon-Fri (can be flexible between school hours)
- Have a Working with children’s check employee?
- Be willing to travel between client’s homes (can be flexible)
- Great communication skills
- Some experience in domestic cleaning
- Caring nature
- First Aid certificate (will need to obtain during the screening process)
- CPR certificate (will need to obtain during the screening process)
- Manual Handling certificate (need to obtain during the screening process)
- Proof of flu vaccination
- Proof of covid vaccination
