About us
The Portable Long Service Authority is an independent statutory body established to administer the Long Service Benefits Portability Act 2018. The Act, together with the Long Service Benefits Portability Regulations 2020 provide a Portable Long Service Benefits Scheme. The Portable Long Service Benefits Scheme began on 1 July 2019 to ensure eligible workers in the community services, contract cleaning and security industries can build up long service benefits based on time in their industry, rather than with a single employer.
About the role
About you
As a Digital Communications Officer, you will have the skills too:
- Support the development and implementation of digital communications plans to drive traffic through the PLSA digital channels and support the communications and engagement initiatives.
- Identify innovations, trends and opportunities, producing creative and engaging digital and social media content for PLSA platforms including PLSA website, e-newsletter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter and YouTube, ensuring activity and engagement is monitored, analysed and findings reported to internal stakeholders to inform the digital presence.
- Ongoing management and maintenance of the PLSA website and provide support for the PLSA intranet.
- Champion the PLSA brand across all digital platforms including maintaining and updating the library of digital asset and sourcing additional assets to support communications initiatives.
- Review, update and internally promote the PLSA social media policies and procedures.
- Undertake other administrative and communication tasks as required or directed
