**THE OPPORTUNITY**

Our Business Finance team are looking for a diligent and collaborative Accounts Payable Officer to join our Sydney team.

Reporting to the Accounts Payable Manager, you will support the business by processing company expenses and disbursements into the HSF financial system in a timely and accurate manner, compliant with ATO regulations and according to our policies and procedures.

Day to day, you will:

- Ensure accurate data entry of invoices for multiple entities into Aderant Expert is completed in a timely manner
- Ensure compliance with internal and external policies and requirements
- Process weekly payment runs to domestic and international suppliers
- Complete monthly statement reconciliations
- Ensure that all Accounts Payable tasks and requests are actioned in line with Service Level Agreement with the business

**SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS**

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- At least 1- 2 years’ experience in an Accounts Payable position, however we will consider those with more or less experience.
- Strong problem solving skills, and the ability to think creatively to find answers
- An interest in Accounts Payable and the drive to find better ways to complete tasks
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Beginner to Intermediate level skills with Excel
- Experience using Aderant Expert (this is highly desirable, but not essential)
- Accurate and timely data entry skills
- The ability to prioritise your workload - adjusting for problems and roadblocks
- Excellent customer service skills: you’ll be able to anticipate needs and exceed customer expectations
- A self-motivated approach with a “can-do, team-player” attitude

The team ensures an adequate financial control framework is maintained to safeguard the integrity of the firm's finances and plays a key role in mitigating financial and business risks. The team provides robust financial information internally and externally to enable decision making, effective operations and to help the firm meet its clients' needs and statutory requirements.

As a member of the Business finance team, whether you are in core finance, taxation, treasury or projects, you’ll play a critical role in the firm's success.
