**The School of Biomedical Sciences**

Those who are appointed to this prestigious specialism will be expected to successfully drive educational excellence within the university’s teaching and learning communities. The role of Lecturer reports to the Head of Physiology and has no direct reports.

**Key skills required**:

- A PhD in a related discipline, and/or relevant work experience.
- Demonstrated experience in effective biomedical teaching including, development, delivery, and course convening, at an undergraduate and/or postgraduate level.
- Demonstrated experience in developing and delivering teaching activities of that provide industry or work-integrated learning experiences.
- Evidence of highly developed interpersonal and organisational skills
- Evidence of ability to support and inspire students from diverse backgrounds and support student equity, diversity and inclusion initiatives
